The higher the number\nthe more the smoothing. E.g. a value of 10 is similar to an α of 0.1.\nIt is analogous to an RC time constant - but there is no time component to\nthis as the code is based on events arriving.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>If \u003Ccode>msg.reset\u003C\u002Fcode> is received (with any value), all the counters and intermediate values are reset to an initial state.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>Note:\u003C\u002Fstrong> This node only operates on \u003Cstrong>numbers\u003C\u002Fstrong>.
